I'd really like to see a newsletter module that supports layout templates, allows columists to submit their articles, allows easy editing. And the real kicker, supports a print function or a export to PDF function. This way the online newsletter can look just like the printed one. The other option, make the newsletter in Acrobat and just upload the file to a documents module, then email all users a link. Heh. Just an idea. I really want to simulate a newsletter like at a school. A newspaper type layout and multiple pages.

Ditto. 

A template based newsletter system would be a big seller, no doubt.  An email-able version that is.  I personally don't have much use for a newsetter that resides only on the site, but I hear some people do.

I think I'll speak with Scott McCulloch - he's got a brilliant articles module - and for 3, it's really quite cool.  I wonder how hard it would be to add an email users when finished section to it.

Once the next release of dnn is done, you'll find it much easier to send email to the users with the bulk mailer - it had a few little problems, but I am sure they've been fixed.

A great newsletter module would be cool - and I think Scott's is close to the mark.

The next version as in 3.1.4 or as in v4? How many months is this away? 2, 4, 12? Just a guess would do, I know how hard it is to predict.
