Module Upload Problems

I've updated a module and am trying to upload it but it's not working. I get the following error:

Failure

ExceptionSystem.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. What types are to be instantiated? The only type I specified in the ..dnn file was a controller, which I've verified. Is there anything I'm missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I assume this is a custom module. I have seen this error when the biz controller class is wrong. Try removing it from the dnn file and see if it installs.

You're right. I should've updated this a while ago; but I typo'd my controller class namespace. Thanks.

No. I didn't have to. I got this to work on my own. The problem was that I copied code and didn't change everything I needed to. You were right, tho, it was based on that property.

By the way, I hate VB. That was part of the problem - implicit namespaces.

I was uploading another module and discovered something. I've only done this once, so I can't guarrantee that it always works this way; but it seems to me that you will always receive the aforementioned failure exception when adding a new controller (not updating one). I updated the feedback module to support import/export and tried to upload it. The upload message was the same. I thought it was odd, so I checked my settings and everything was fine. I then tried to upload the exact same ZIP file and there was no error. With this, I can only make one assumption: the system is attempting to create an instance of the controller class before the DLL is moved to the bin directory.
