Where can I find the .dnn file (used to upload custom modules and skinobjects etc) schema? In particular I am interested in installing a number of additional files that my module needs. Also those files are supposed to be in their own folder. Is that possible?
For example - when I upload my custom module(module1) to the DNN site I want to place the followinf files:
/dotnetnuke/DesktopModules/module1/mydata/monday/data.xml
/dotnetnuke/DesktopModules/module1/mydata/tuesday/data.xml

Just add them to the files section in your DNN-file like this :

 <file>
          <path>images</path>
          <name>date.gif</name>
</file>

DNN will create the folder if it doesn't exists. If you are developing the module yourself a easy way to create a install package is to login as host and  go to Host -> Moduledefintions. Choose your module there and there will be a link to create a private assembly. This will create the zip-file for you. This only works in DNN3

I tried that, but there is a problem(bug?) with it. When I have multiple files with the same name but in different folders it only writes them in the last folder. For example:

<file>
          <path>images</path>
          <name>date.gif</name>
</file>
<file>
          <path>images2</path>
          <name>date.gif</name>
</file>
<file>
          <path>images3</path>
          <name>date.gif</name>
</file>

Will create only "images3/date.gif". The other files will NOT be created.
