I've recently updated our intranet to 1.0.10 and decided to install the "TTT Document Versioning Enhancement - DNN 1.0.10" module, but am having some difficulties getting it running.

I think I've installed the IE Web Controls properly
I've confirmed that Full Text search is running on the SQL server
I've uploaded the files & installed the module via HOST
I've copied the images over
I've updated the portal.css

However, when I add the module to a page, I get this error:

Error Loading DesktopModules/DocumentControl/DisplayFull.ascx

I'm stuck! Can anyone help me? Where did I go wrong?

can you run theh web browser from the server. if you can browse to http://localhost you will see the error that is raised

I'm not sure I know what you mean.

This is the error I get when I browse to the page that I added the Document Control module to. Instead of the module, I just get an error stating "Error Loading DesktopModules/DocumentControl/DisplayFull.ascx". This is exactly the same whether I browse to it on the server or on a client. It appears to be a DNN error - not a .net error.

when you log into the server are your brwsing to http://localhost?

try removing publicKeyToken from the top of the displayfull page

No, when I log into the server I'm browsing to the name of the intranet. ("http://sls1/fiberspace"). I can't use http://localhost because it's not set up that way.

I tried removing the publicKeyToken, but no change.

go to admin site settings. Go to portal Alias from what you are telling me you have
sls1/fiberspace... update this so it now says

sls1/fiberspace,localhost/fiberspace

you shoudl then be abel to browse to http://localhost/fiberspace

the probelm is that DotNetNuke is not showing you the error....

actaull its is under host/portals

OK - I understand now. I added localhost/fiberspace, and now I can see the error. I tried it with the original file (with the Public Key) and then without the public key. This is the error I get without the public key: (after the error I've also included the line that is left in displayfull.ascx)

By the way, from the error it seemed to me that I needed to check the version of the 'Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls' dll. I did this and it is the same as listed in the line above.
