Hello all, thanks in advance for any help to this simple newbie problem:
I am running Windows XP Home and I installed Commerce kit along with the .NET Framework, SQL Server, and Web Matrix (Cassini).

When I open default.aspx in Web Matrix, and attempt to "Start" the page (pointing to the source directory and using port 80), the browser properly opens up to http://localhost/Default.aspx, but displays this error message:

Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'validateRequest'.

I know this must be an easy fix for you veterans, but for a dummy newbie like myself, it's tough to figure out. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks in advance,

i don't know doing this is the right solution but i suggest for it to work in web matrix you just delete this line <pages validateRequest="true" />

I`m sorry, I would like to ask you what version of Web Matrix do you have, and what SQL server. That`s why I have Web Matrix 0.6.812 and Commerce starter kit i`m not able to install. The error message said I need IIS? I don`t know, what shold I do. Thank You.
