Hi -
I'm trying to get IBuySpy (IBS) installed so I can explore and learn RDA and Replication between SQLCE and SQL2K. My installation fails, however.
When I try to install, I get the following IBS Installation Failed message: "The IBuySpy samples are written in ASP.Net and require the .NET Framework, SQL Server or MSDE, SQL Server CE, and IIS. Please install the missing components before installing this sample."
An Installation Failed window is then displayed with the message: "The IBuySpy Delivery sample application has not been configured correctly. You must successfully configure the sample before using IBuySpy Delivery." Below that message, SQL Server CE and ASP.Net Online are listed/linked. I know that SQL Server CE 2.0 is installed, since I've been actively using it. I think ASP.Net is installed; isn't it part of the .Net Framework (and how would I verify whether it's installed?)?
My log.txt file is two lines:
4:25:27 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2004: [Checking system requirements]
4:25:27 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2004: [Pass] Detected a local instance of SQL Server.
How can I get IBS installed successfully??
Thanks for your help.
