Commerce Kit for MS Visual Studio 2005?7/18/2005 5:36:45 AM

I downloaded the Visual Basic - Visual Studio Commerce Kit, however I am using the latest release of visual studio - Visual Studio 2005 (Beta2...free!).   When I attempt to edit the code I get a message from VS2005, telling me that the code was written for an earlier version of VS and the program goes through a process of updating the code. 

However when I save the updated code (and unedited by me), the original commerce kit does not run.  In fact it seems that it is not recognized at all by the operating system, since it attempts to install it again.

Will the code for the commerce kit be upgraded to work with MS VS2005?

After the translation I got about 21 warning messages and a 2 error messages. The warnings were related to the "codebehind" directive at the begining of the pages.

Hi

I have managed to get it running in VS2005 it ran for me even with the errors I just started the code without debuging and click yes to run with the errors and it ran fine I downloaded th VB version so not sure about the others,

I sorted most of the errors later which relate to the web config connection string which has been changed but the old way still works for backward compatiblity

As for the code being upgrade for VS 2005 I don't know

I'm using in it VS 2005, and it converted fine.  Tell me how you are trying to open it and the exact error message the webbrowser gives you.  Yes, the conversion wizard gives you warnings but they are all just warnings about how there is a better way to do something in VS 2005 than there was in VS 2003.  What 2 errors did it find and on what page?
