On the local network I have Windows 2003 Server and SQL Server 2000, the commerce kit is running well on local network.

I run a small business, as most small businesses money is tight. We have many domains hosted externally, they all have ASP.NET enabled along with MS Access databases. I enquired about getting SQL Server enabled, this would require the site to be on a Webserver with very few other websites, hence a nice cost to go with it. I know I can shop around and get a SQL Server website cheaper than £350 GBP around $580 US dollars per year, but we have so many ties with the web hosts like many sites. We could afford it, but cannot justify it, and money may be better spent elsewhere.

So my question is can the database accessing be changed to MS Access? what would be the implications. The website will never have high traffic, lucky to get 10 orders per day.

Hope someone can advise on this.

If you do some searching you will find that someone has already done it and are distributing it for free!! Just search this forum and the IBuySpy Store forum and you will find it if not let me know and I will do some more searching.

Did you get this code? If so can you share it? I have it somewhere, at home backed up on CD. I'll look later on tonight. HOwever, if you've got it, I'd appreciate not having to search through my archives.
