New Error 40 named pipes can't connect to SQL Server

Hi, Thanks for your help. I have got custom errors "Off" and moved on to the next error. Based on info from other forums I tried to set SQL Server 2005 surface area configuration to allow TCP connections. I'm being disallowed because I'm not the administrator. I tried to make myself admin but was denied. I think I need to make this setting change so SQLreg.exe can run and update my databases? Or, should I just delete my DB and start over? Or, maybe I'm on the wrong track? Help? Thanks. When I'm denied access to change the settings the error is 40 Shared memory provider Error 2.

You are on the wrong track..

All you need to do is setup your DB from the hosting control panel (if its godaddy, they tell you what connection string to use after you create the DB and what is your user/pass)

Dont worry about all the other stuff..I dont think you need to change anything...

Its all in the connection string..
