there is something my friend experienced

He has 450 lines of XML file. When trying to use details view dropdownlist(which is in insert template) binded to the xmldatasource, IE becomes unresponsive.

However, when he dont use adapters; no problem occurs

Please post some code or instructions on how exactly to duplicate the problem. It would be great to have the actual ASPX markup that is being used plus the XML contents. Otherwise, I'm afraid we won't be able to pursue this problem. Thanks for helping.
