Well, just to be clear, eDirectory is "always" there. And a bindery
context may be created on a per-server basis if a bindery context was set
in the server's AUTOEXEC.NCF. And it is really the workstation client
software that determines if a NDS or bindery connection to the server was
made or not.
In most cases, a NDS connection would be made by default, but sometimes a
profile setting in the C32 properties may result in a bindery connection
instead. Overall, however, there is no harm or
security risk in having
these MAIL\* folders exist.
