Hi,

 

I just now installed VS 2008 and created a new solution. WHen i try to add Existing Project from SourceSafe i get the following error System.RunTime.InteropServices.COMException. Even if i add the same project from my disk, then also i get the same error.

 

I am encountering same error while i am trying to add any other project from SourceSafe..

Did anyone encounter this error  or was in similar situation???

 

I appreciate any help in this regard....

Have a look at this thread: http://forums.asp.net/t/1184294.aspx?PageIndex=2 . You may have to run VS as admin to be able to access IIS metabase.
