Visual Studio 2005 - avp.exe appears in solution explorer3/23/2007 1:00:23 PM

Yesterday I installed Visual Studio 2005 and found avp.exe in solution explorer.

Realising that I had had Kaspersky AV running, I then "paused protection" of Kaspersky, uninstalled VS2005 with Add/Remove programs and reinstalled it. I still find avp.exe in solution explorer.

Does this matter and, if so, how can I remove it? Remove does not appear on the edit menu.

Hi bogorman,

 

avp.exe is from Kaspersky, and the file exist in solution explorer is not VS. Net's behavior. From your description we can know only paused protection of kaspersky is not enough. So you should remove kaspersky or send feedback to kaspersky. Thanks.
