I understand folks want to make money.  I am not complaining.  I just want to know if anyone can recommend the best place to get free skins?  Thank you.

I must say it's hard to find a free skin. I found only a few sites when I was building my links directory, very few added later. Visit the site from my sig to find them easy. Usually you can find a free skin or two on skin designer websites. I guess that's because commercial skins are also almost free in my opinion.

Thats quite odd really when you consider how many free modules are out there - and most would be far more time consuming to build than a skin.

They are not that easy to find because you have to follow so many 'leads' ie from people posting here.

Thank you.  Your website is great.  It is one of the most informative and helpful out there.  I have been studying the code in the skins and hope to be able to create my own one day.  I haven't had a chance to watch the video for skins yet.

Thanks for that nice comment, there is alot that needs to be added, and don't get too comfortable while looking around the site - I'm in the process of a total revamp and I mean - totally different - I had to start from scratch again, due to a modified core which caused a bit of grief so will be leaving my old site up for historical purposes, but this time I'm taking the fun approach and have some things on my site that I've not tried before.

I will be releasing it very shortly - warts and all, unfinished, but work in motion, so that although not perfect (this years resolution, don't have to be perfect, just get it out there) and will be a work in progress with more user input on providing things that have been asked for for a while, but couldn't do on dnn2.

I'm excited about it - which is great - it was hard few months towards the end of 2005, but 2006 really will see some big changes on how information is presented to assist people learn more about DNN and how to make it look like they want.
